Welcome to TangoDown Paintball, Metro Detroit's #1 Tactical Paintball / Airsoft Facility

Just when you thought the war was over....

That’s the best way to describe the type of paintball games conducted at Tango Down Tactical Paintball. Also known as speedball and woodsball, paintball is already considered to be a non-contact, extreme sport. But here at Tango Down Tactical Paintball, we upped the ante when it comes to how this extreme sport is played.

Real-life Scenarios, Close Quarter Battle

The focus of the games played at Tango Down Tactical Paintball lies on tactical CQB or Close Quarter Battle. Such close combat scenarios are definitely not for the faint of heart!

To give you an idea about how a CQB is played, here’s a quick description. When you say close quarter combat scenarios, they actually involve battle situations where there is high-intensity conflict and sudden ‘violence’ can erupt any second within the short span of time that the game is played. This close quarters battle puts an emphasis on small infantry units using light, compact weapons like pistols, submachine guns and shotguns that one man can carry and easily use in tight spaces.

If you’re a paintball enthusiast, you should already be familiar with the typical games played in the field like Capture the Flag, Free for All, King of the Hill, Zombie, Speedball, Tag and Ironman. We offer these types of games at Tango Down, but there’s a huge difference with the games battled out in our fields.

Instead, we keep the game as close to real life as possible by allowing the players to engage in close quarter battle with lifelike scenarios. If you’re a team of soldiers battling it out in the field, you may not necessarily have an endless supply of ammo so you have to be tactical and strategic when shooting at the enemy.  Whether you’re engaging in a round of Capture the Flag or the President’s Game, you will have the best adrenaline rush, you can rest assured that the scenario is as real-life as possible and you’ll get to sharpen your tactical skills while out in the field.

Why it Pays to Engage in CQB’s at Tango Down Tactical Paintball

Aside from being involved in realistic battle games, what other benefits will players get to enjoy when choosing the fields of Tango Down Tactical Paintball as their ‘battle venue’? Here’s a quick list:

We feel that this will keep each and every game fun yet 100% safe for all parties concerned.
